Summit County allows a very small window of time to appeal your taxes before they send out your final tax bill. That means, I’ve got to get started immediately! Many people will choose to wait until the last minute to decide to fight their taxes. Those people will send in their application during the final days and I may not be able to properly build a case to get them a tax reduction. They may not leave me enough time to do the detailed research required to get the greatest reduction, and quite frankly, its too stressful for me to have to kill myself in the final hours to build and present your case. For this reason, I’ve decided to offer you an incentive to get your tax appeal application in to me sooner.
If I receive your completed tax appeal application on or before September 1, 2009, I will reduce the research & appeal fee to $169. That’s a $20 savings just for giving me more time to do the research and less stress in my life. Believe me, I can represent you better if you don’t wait until the last minute. And, of course, the risk of getting your application to me in the final hours is that I may simply not be able to help you at all. There simply may not be enough time to complete the research and build the case. And, if you miss the September 15th deadline, you’ll have to pay your higher taxes this year and you won’t be able to challenge the assessor for another 12 months.
So don’t wait! Decide right now if you think your property has been over-valued by the assessor. Then, decide if you want to do the research yourself or hire an appraiser for $500 to $750, and then get started building your case to present. Or, if you don’t have the time or data to fight your own appeal, simply turn the whole project over to me -- an expert with a proven track record of saving people thousands of dollars in taxes. But don’t wait, you don’t have much time to decide for this year.
Even if you’re not sure if your tax assessment is out of line, you’ve got nothing to lose having me look into it for you. If you don’t qualify for a tax reduction, you get your money back! Nothing ventured, and nothing lost. Just don’t wait til the last minute, I don’t want to turn you away when you’re running out of time.
I’m here to assist you and save you money,
